How It Works

Critical Safety & Operating Rules

• Secure the Assembly: The wheel/tire assembly must be firmly clamped to the rotating table before any operation. A loose assembly can become a deadly projectile.
• Use Correct Tooling & Settings: Adjust the machine’s arms and select the proper duckhead/roller for the exact tire size and rim type. Never use passenger car tooling.
• Deflate Completely & De-bead First: Ensure the tire is fully deflated and the bead is completely broken from the rim on both sides before attempting demounting.
• Lubricate Generously: Use tire mounting lubricant on both tire beads and rim edges to reduce friction and prevent bead damage.
• Keep Hands Clear: Use the machine’s controls and tools. Never place hands or fingers between the tire bead and rim during rotation.
• Inspect Tire & Rim: Check for severe rust, cracks, or lock ring damage on multi-piece rims before mounting. Multi-piece rim assemblies require specific, extreme caution.
• Air Up in a Safety Cage: After mounting, inflate the tire to seat the bead inside a reinforced tire inflation safety cage. Heavy-duty tires store enormous explosive energy.
