How It Works

• Explosion-Proof Requirement: All electrical components inside the booth (lights, switches, motors, heaters) must be rated for Class 1, Division 1 or 2, Group D hazardous locations to prevent ignition of solvent vapors.
• Strict Filter Maintenance: Clogged filters reduce airflow, causing the electric heaters to overheat and potentially fail or become a fire hazard. Replace filters religiously.
• Purge Cycle is Still Mandatory: Exhaust fans must run for a set time before heaters turn on to purge flammable vapors from the booth.
